Its About Time

So I haven't exactly posted in a while.

Here's what I've been up to for the past few months or so:

I've been working for a while on a model for my dad. He wants to end up looking like avatar. I figured I would start with a base model for his face, and then tweak the features to have a closer facial structure to the Na'vi

The edge loops are a little crazy at the moment, and the eyes are kind of unrealistic..so there is definitely a lot more to be done.

I'm actually quite proud of the smooth version of the mesh so far.

This is something that I've been working on for Nate while he's been working for a local TV station. It's taken me a while, but eventually it will be an opening slate for some of the shows he's producing.

On another note, I got into grad school! Tentatively, in the fall I will being starting the master of Science program in Texas A&M's School of Visualization. While I'm very happy to be pursuing my career, it will be tough to leave behind all the friends I've made here. I know this is for the best, but at the moment it's rather bittersweet. Guess we've all got to grow up eventually, right? I'm sure the people that matter from this chapter of my life I'll be in touch with.
